If you're simply looking for a "little" Johnny Paycheck, then this might be for you. It contains the best of his singles for Columbia, from the true classic "Slide off of Your Satin Sheets" and "She's All I Got," to the rowdy redneck anthem "Take This Job and Shove It," "I'm the Only Hell (Mama Ever Raised)," and two fine originals: the honky tonk ballad "Mr. Lovemaker," and the rocking "Friend, Lover, Wife." This set checks in at about 27 minutes, but there isn't a bad cut in the bunch; they're the original versions and you can't possibly beat the price unless it was free. Read More
